Project | Pulse Behind the Scenes
(12:54-14:46)
This story highlights what is necessary in the success of the Pulse production. The audience may not realize how much work is actually put into this news program, and this was the story that made them all aware. Almost like a reality show, this story was difficult to put together because we needed to incorporate all of the emotional, as well as comedic, moments in our broadcast journalism class. As the reporter, I had the opportunity to share the memories and recap all of the hard work that the broadcast members endure.
Project | SRO's in Manchester
(3:16-4:53)
This story was able to put a spotlight on people who aren't always recongized for their hard work: the Student Resource Officers of Manchester, Connecticut. It was interesting to use different shots as a way to show the perspective of an SRO and whaty they go through on a normal day. As the reporter, I got to tell the story of the impact that they have on this town.
Project | Open Mic
(10:46-12:25)
This story features the Open Mic performance held by the students of MHS themselves. It showed all of the hard work and willpower it took for these gifted individuals to get up on that stage. The performing arts is clearly not for everyone, but this story showed that everyone learned something from this experience. As the reporter, I was able to display the importance of this story through emotion.

Project | Boys Swimming
(9:58-11:23)
This story features the teamwork necessary for the success of the boys wim team at MHS. Gathering home videos of previous meets, the viewers saw that although swimming is an individual sport, the encourgement of team members is very important. As the reporter, I was responsible for capturing the emotion and hard work that the swim team experienced during the 2016 season.
